Satoshi Itasaka
“Humanity has been fighting infectious diseases at all times and has survived. We must learn from history and continue to move forward as our predecessors did. This struggle has taken us in the right direction with decelerating the excess capitalist economy to date. The air is clean and the sanitation of the city has been improved, and our gratitude to the people around is increasing. The incidence has reminded us that humanity is not at the top of life, but is at the brink of danger by even the smallest viruses. This also affects the designs we are creating. I am thinking about what is really needed for humans in the after-corona era.”
