RAKK Roots are the origins and foundation of things particularly, in nature. The tiny lines in roots all works together to create the foundation that needs to stabilize trees.
I combine sculpture and furniture by using organic shape. Both parts are linked together by the legs like tree roots that hold up an entire tree.
FEATHER When you think of feathers, you think light, airy, flight that was all an inspiration behind this side table. A microscopic look at feathers would reveal the small intricate protein keratin in which millions of them are combined to make one single feather. With that, stainless steel were used where each piece were welded together by hand to mimic the keratin in feathers and captures the finest details and beauty of a feather. By overlaying each welded piece together creates a durable, yet beautiful table base. The airiness allows light to shine through creating an alluring charm. More importantly, the airiness gives an illusion that the table is so light, that it could fly.
